Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area, or visiting the show caves situated near the cottage.

Castleton Stunning Peak Cavern Gorge Location

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Cave End Cottage is over 300 years old and is our much loved second home. Many original features remain including wobbly walls, wooden beams and a beautiful, large fireplace. It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. Its central location in the village means it's close to all attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Equipped to accommodate all your needs the property's also on a dead-end so there's no passing traffic.

Artemis Barn - Annexe

Self-contained annex to an award winning home, right in the heart of Castleton, with ON-SITE parking! Equipped with kitchenette, comfortable king sized bed, Japanese soaking tub, smart TV and board games. Modern design with charming original features. Quiet and peaceful. There are six pubs, a bakery, coffee spot, a newly opened boutique wine and craft beer shop all within a short walk, not to mention the countless trails and rambles with astonishing views on the doorstep.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
