With lots of trails and the Susquehanna River close by, your family can spend many hours hiking in southern Lancaster County. Experience the local Britain Hill Vineyard,coffee,and ice cream shops nearby. The charming city of Lancaster with its many authentic restaurants is only a 20 minute drive. The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

The Stone House between the Streams

While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived.

The Olde Wash House on Camargo

Come and relax in our cozy, cottage style home with its own private entrance, surrounded by working Amish farms, just outside of town. This historic building was used as a Wash House when the building next door functioned as a Tavern. A short 15 minute drive to Historic Strasburg, Sight and Sound Theater, Antique Shopping, and more! Hiking Trails close by include Enola Low Grade Rail Trail, Pinnacle Point, Muddy Run Park, and Sickman's Mill.

Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe.
