Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

Peaceful Lakefront Escape

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway just 2.5 hours from Toronto. Escape to nature yet enjoy the comforts of home in a rustic, 3-bedroom cottage with full kitchen. Take the canoe or paddle boat out to explore the lake’s many islands. Enjoy fishing, swimming, and spending lazy afternoons on the dock. Autumn and winter are especially beautiful at this lake. Experience the vibrant changing fall colours and warm up at our indoor or outdoor fire. Your peaceful cottage getaway awaits at Jordan Lake.

Cabin28

Step away from your busy life and fall into tranquility at Cabin28. An 1840’s built cabin situated on 4 acres of privacy with 2000 feet of clear riverfront swimming, fishing and kayaking. New custom deck and hot tub will allow you to relax and enjoy your retreat! Sit by the fire pit and enjoy a moonlit/star filled sky. Although this space has all the feel of a time long gone, its rustic charm has been updated with modern features to enhance your stay! Come enjoy an experience you won’t forget!

2nd Floor Guest Suite

2nd floor guest suite located only 5 minutes to downtown Bancroft. This large suite has a queen bed, queen pull out sofa bed, mini fridge with freezer, microwave, smart tv, keurig machine (tea, coffee, sweeteners and milk/cream provided) and spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Please note that a full flight of stairs must be climbed to access this unit once inside the door. Please also note there is no kitchen in this suite, cooking appliances & candles are prohibited due to fire risk.

Cozy Riverside Getaway * No cleaning or pet fees*

Stay beside the North River in our charming guesthouse cabin. Private riverfront to launch canoes or kayaks Public Boat launch across the road. Short drive to several lakes, the Trent Severn, multiple parks, extensive off roading & snowmobiling trails. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat. Well cared for pets and their responsible owners are welcomed!

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

If you enjoy hiking, you can go for a private hiking experience on our private trail (4-5km), check out Silent Lake Provincial Park (20 min) or Algonquin (1 hour) to enjoy the beautiful Canadian nature. The Nook, Peaceful Retreat: Lake+Hot Tub+ Sauna!

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Tall Pines Nature Retreats ~ La Rouge

Reconnect with nature at Tall Pines Nature Retreats, where a hand-painted yurt with a private hot tub awaits in a forest sanctuary on a riverside horticultural farm. Stargaze by the fire, relax beneath intricate ceiling art, or explore a magical riverside. Paddle, swim, or float with seasonal use of canoe, kayak, SUPs, or snowshoes. This is a registered agri-tourism farm offering a nature and wellness retreat—not a typical short-term rental.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

1800s Timber Trail Lodge

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style.
