Learn what it takes to be a Pizzaiolo
We're back! It was a long two years. All that's needed now are your hands, your passion, and a little guidance from us and you'll be making and eating exceptional pizza. First I’ll show you how to make dough … and eat a little pizza. I'll teach you about the importance of time and temperature, about different yeasts and how to make poolish. Oh... it's recess... gotta eat some pizza. Next we'll practice what is probably the hardest yet funnest part of all.... opening up a Neapolitan pizza ball. You'll learn to massage the dough, so the air moves outward toward the edge - otherwise known as the cornicione. Now, take a moment , have some pizza. You deserve it. Then you'll learn to dress the pizza and then then launch it into the wood-fired oven. There's no turning back now. In 90 seconds your pizza will be finished. We'll practice this over and over using the same techniques I learned from a world champion. This will be the best class ever because you get to eat your homework!

Pottery in the Mission
We will start with some of the interesting history of the studio space. Then I will get you situated on the wheel and show you how to properly secure your lump of clay. After the clay is secured we start the wheel spinning nice and fast. I will show you how to center the clay which is a very important (and frustrating) stage of making pottery on the wheel. After we successfully center the clay, you will explore how the clay moves and reacts to your touch. We will work to form a simple shape such as a bowl or cup. To finish off we will do some clean up of the form and remove the piece from the wheel in order to start experimenting with the next piece. You can expect to get to practice with around 6 lumps of clay (more if you are ambitious) and most people will create 2-3 pieces by the end of the session. Pieces will be professionally finished, fired, and glazed after the experience. This process takes at least 3 weeks. After the pieces are finished you can pickup in the studio or they can be shipped. Shipping costs are paid by the guest. Other things to note Come wearing clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We will provide aprons. If you have long hair plan to have a hair tie or a way to secure your hair back. Trim long nails if you are able.

Dumplings are a San Francisco staple, you'll learn how to make them from scratch in this hands-on cooking class & 3-course dinner party! It's perfect for a unique date night, as a family cooking activity, as a team building offsite, or just on your own -- a class suitable for all levels, from new to seasoned chefs. We'll use a family recipe for a mouthwatering pork stuffing. (For non-pork eaters, a delicious tofu-based stuffing is offered) Once you've created your batch of dumplings, you'll create your very own secret dipping sauce. We'll also enjoy a pork belly braise: a classic Shanghaineese dish that highlights the umami of soy sauce using local, organic pork, and finish with a red bean dessert -- you'll be in a food coma at the end of the experience! You'll also take home a recipe guide. Private bookings available for team builds and custom classes! Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or expanding your cooking skills, the Dumpling Dinner Party is a must-try experience.

Wine Blending Experience - Create a Perfect Bottle of Wine
At Meadowcroft Wines, learn about the art and science of winemaking by blending and bottling your very own bottle of wine. We’ll start with a stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens of Cornerstone Sonoma and an idyllic vineyard for a firsthand look at the vines. As we walk the rows, We’ll share why the iconic Sonoma Valley is the perfect place to winegrapes. Then, we’ll sit to create unique blends from wines that have been aged in separate barrels to craft your own red blend using Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec Petit Verdot and/or Cabernet Franc to place your own signature style into a Bordeaux based red blend. Each person will hand-cork their own bottle of wine and take it home to share. No previous wine experience is necessary - perfect for all levels of wine experience and interest. Other things to note: You'll blending will be guided by one of our knowledgeable team members. Bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera. The tour starts at 10am sharp! *Please inquire for large parties or corporate groups by contacting us through the Airbnb site.
The Taste of Sonoma Bike Tour
We will bike on our local country roads while enjoying stops in vineyards, walking through 160 year old wine caves and even, during the harvest season, we enjoy tasting the grapes and testing the sugar levels. All our experiences are geared towards each small group's needs and wants. We will enjoy a private lunch at one of the wineries, a behind the scenes cheese tasting and more. The wineries we pick are diverse and the route is designed to show our guests what Sonoma has to offer. Other things to note Our locally guided experience includes the lunch, waters, and the behind the scenes cheese tasting and tour but does NOT include the tasting fees which typically run between $35-45 average per winery.
Tour the valley with The Wine Gypsy
We will head out for the more remote parts of the valley. Up on mountains and down the back roads to places that you might never find on your own. I choose wineries with character, whether it’s the people or the place. Something unique and special that makes you think “This is cool!” What you imagine when you picture a Napa Valley wine tasting experience. Properties that you are reluctant to leave because the wine is so good and the people so friendly you could sit there all day. Eat your picnic lunch on a hillside overlooking the valley. Winter months we might eat inside the winery, or do a tasting beside a roaring fire while we watch the rain fall. Sit and converse with the winemaker in their homes. Tour a property in an ATV. Hit golf balls out into a lake surrounded by vineyards. Please note** Tasting fees are not included in the price. Wineries will comp fees with a wine purchase. If you are traveling where purchasing wine is not an option, you may opt to pay the tasting fees. Please note there may be another party on the tour with you. We spend a full day together because there is so much to see. I will pick you up either at the meet spot or at your local Napa Valley lodgings. Pickups outside of Napa Valley are possible for an additional charge. Other things to note Cellar tasting rooms can be a bit chilly. We will be climbing some stairs, and navigating some gravel pathways. Water and sparkling water will be provided. * Ask me about special flat rate pricing for private groups over 4
Wine Country Hands-On- Sushi making class
We invite you to a winery lounge nestled in the charming wine region of Kenwood. Only 20 min drive from downtown Sonoma or a 15 min drive from Santa Rosa. We specially chose this location for the wines and food pairing. Séamus tasting lounge is where we will teach our class in the winter months. However we also love to host by coming to you in your Airbnb, estate property , or home. We will demonstrate some of the dishes I have perfected on my restaurant's menu. I will demo step by step how to create unique sushi with fresh high quality tuna, salmon , Hamachi and other species of fish. We will pair each bite with wine to complement the meal's flavors. Along the way, I will teach about different types of Tuna species and why Blue-fin, Big-eye and yellowfin tuna is distinctively different from all other fish on the market. I will include recipes and methods for you to continue practicing yourself at home. It's how I was able to learn and I hope to share my love with the rest of the world. Other things to note Provide some humor, willingness to learn and be ready to have fun......
索諾瑪:搭乘古董福斯串酒廠

We meet in Sausalito then shuttle to Mill Valley, where we start our walking exploration of Marin's magical redwood forest. Following quiet backroads and footpaths, we retreat to quiet groves of ancient redwood trees and follow spring-fed creeks to natural pools and cascading falls. In this peaceful forest, unique to the northern California and southern Oregon coastal region, the sequoia sempervirens soar hundreds of feet into the sky, providing an unequaled nature experience at base of mighty Mt. Tamalpais. Along the way, you learn about the coastal redwoods' amazing ecology and their clever adaptations for survival over many millions of years. It is a remarkable escape into nature on the slopes of beautiful Mt. Tam. Guests can also meet us in Mill Valley's Old Mill Park, where the walk starts at 10AM weekdays or 12:30PM on weekends. Weekday guests need to catch the 7:40AM ferry from San Francisco arriving at 8:10AM. Weekend ferry guests need to catch the 10:15AM Golden Gate ferry from the terminal behind SF's Ferry Building (foot of Market St.) The ferry arrives in Sausalito at 11:20AM. I will meet Sausalito guests outside the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, 22 El Portal, at 9:30 weekdays and noon on weekends. If you need another start time, please contact me via Airbnb direct message. This refreshing walk is also ideal for groups and corporate team building outings!

Shipping costs are paid by the guest. Other things to note Come wearing clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We will provide aprons. If you have long hair plan to have a hair tie or a way to secure your hair back. Trim long nails if you are able.
