Quail Cottage - Quaint, Cosy and Private

My historic Gold Miner's (1880s) rustic cottage is close to Coromandel's cafes, pubs, shops, arts and attractions and coastal views. You’ll love my cosy cottage as space surrounding the unique cottage affords total privacy in a beautiful orchard garden displaying a lovely rural ambiance. There's also a free carport for car/boat, only 1 km from town. My homely retreat is ideal for couples, cyclists, solo travellers, hikers, fishermen, businessmen or anyone celebrating an anniversary or a wedding.

This charming Cape Cod-style cottage offers tranquil and private country-style accommodation. Breakfast is included, featuring a selection of muesli, yogurt, toast, and spreads. We are perfectly situated for easy day trips to Hot water beach or Cathedral cove & many other Coromandel beaches. We are 5 mins drive to Thames town, cafes & restaurants. Come relax & unwind & recharge your batteries. We are 1 hour 20 mins from Auckland international Airport. Sorry no late check-out.

Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse/donkey next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Whitianga Bach walk to town and amenities.

Cosy, comfortable and clean 2 BDRM Bach. Short walk to town, estuary and ferry, less than 1 km to buffalo beach. Bach has a bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee, tea, sugar. Free wifi and Samsung Smart TV in the lounge. Heat pump. No children under the age of 15. We don't do breakfasts but the cafes and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. Nice covered outdoor seating area.

Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by beautiful gardens, listening to the birdsong of native New Zealand Tui and Bellbirds. Relax in the morning or afternoon sun and experience glorious sunsets from the deck with wonderful views of the Coromandel Harbour and bush-clad Coromandel hills.

Waiomu Secret

Waiomu secret is a 1920's Bungalow filled with character and charm but has all the amenities for a great stay. Enjoy the alfresco dining area outside or a soak in the spa. You will truly feel relaxed in this little piece of paradise. Great access to Waiomu bay and fishing ramp across the road. Bush walks, fishing, Kayaking and the famous Waiomu Cafe is in walking distance.

Ohourere Lodge was built in 2017 specifically as a country getaway with spa pool, a spacious lounge, full kitchen, King size bed with ensuite, rural views of the Ohourere Stream and large open gas fireplace (in winter), and 55" Smart TV with Sky Channels (sport and movies).
