You are surrounded by amazing restaurants, coffee shops, bars & lounges. You are just a 5 minute walk to the water, right from your doorstep. Several renowned hiking trails are also just 5 minutes of a joyful walk away.

The cottage is right in the heart of Downtown Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City USA. From here you walk out the gate, go just a few steps & you're on Main Street. Walk down Main Street a few short blocks with dozens of restaurants, bars, shopping and other great attractions & you will be at PCH. You head down the stairs, across the sand & you are in the Pacific Ocean. So close to everything, but once at the cottage it's like your own private, peaceful oasis. Cool Ocean Breezes Daily!

Welcome to "The Captains Cottage" in the charming Alamitos Beach neighborhood. This 100 year old duplex cottage is walking distance to many fun shops and eateries. 5 minutes on foot to Bixby Park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This cottage has a private rear patio space to relax after a day of shopping or beach time. Kitchen is equipped to prepare meals if you wish. But there are many dining options within walking distance. This home is not wheelchair accessible. No pets and no smoking.

Stainless steel appliances, cookware, grill, AC and fast internet. Onsite parking for one car. Beach towels/chairs, beach toys, a beach wagon and an umbrella for guest use. Minimum Rental Age is 25 yrs old

This cottage is located in the heart of Dana Point, a beautiful and uncongested beach community! A 5 minute walk finds you at the nearby town center and new downtown area where you can find restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. Down the street is Dana Point Harbor/marina and the famous Doheny Beach surfing and park or get-away to Catalina Island or whale watching! The Cottage is a great pet friendly with enclosed front and rear yards, a great alternative to the over priced resorts.
