We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

This tour uses ELECTRIC bicycles with pedal assist and full throttle features which make going up hills and cruising the city a breeze. Because we travel by e-bike, we are able to cover a lot of ground with little effort! We include historic neighborhoods, landmarks, parks, art and theater districts, world famous graffiti alleyways, haunted houses, suffragette monuments, microbreweries and craft coffee shops, all while feeding you fun facts and historical tidbits about Denver's dark beginnings, heroines, body snatchers, underground passages and significant street names and the criminals they were named after. We spent a significant amount of time investigating post COVID Denver. We talked to so many local businesses they know us by name. We drank too many coffees, beers and kombuchas, stayed out far too late on weeknights, and ate out way more than our doctors recommended. We explored in exhaustion both the day and nightlife scenes. You can rest assured, when we provide a recommendation, it is the real deal!

Embark on a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of concerts with our seasoned guides as they lead you on an enlightening hike through the captivating landscape of Red Rocks, Colorado. What to Expect: Begin with introductions, then delve into a leisurely 1.5-mile trek with minimal elevation gain (~350 ft). Over the course of approximately 70 minutes, encounter various wildlife, including photobombing mule deer, capture breathtaking photos against the backdrop of the park, and immerse yourself in tales spanning from the era of prehistoric dinosaurs to the modern development overseen by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Hear legendary anecdotes of iconic artists like U2, The Beatles, and more, who have graced the amphitheater with their performances. Conclude your journey with a grab and go breakfast and then you may explore Red Rocks Amphitheater, allowing you to savor the moment at your own pace. This experience is perfect for social media posts, proposals, and corporate events! You came to Denver to hike the mountains and take home memories. You want photos! However, you don't want to ask complete strangers to take photos for you. You also don't want your other photos to be all selfies! You want photos to be proud of. But, how do you begin to plan? That's where I come in! After you book an exciting hike with me, I send you out a questionnaire so I can learn what you want so I can tailor it to your needs. I call you the day before the hike to confirm everything for your exciting day out. On the day of the hike, I come to pick you up at your place in the Denver metro area an hour or so before sunrise. To document your adventure out in the mountains, I bring 2 professional DSLR cameras. Throughout the hike, I take photos of you, the group, the mountains and anything else you want. After the hike is done, you will safely arrive back at your place and will have the rest of the day to reflect on the fact that you did so much before lunch. (St. Mary's Glacier) Join us on a hike up to St. Mary's Glacier all year round (transportation provided from Denver or we can meet at St. Mary's). We will ascend through the stunning Colorado forest and end with a breathtaking panoramic lake view. This is one of our favorite hikes in Colorado (1.5 miles round-trip). (Indian Hot Springs) Next, we visit another historic landmark and soak in the natural geothermal cave pools, which will be perfect for our muscles after our hike and is included with the price. Due to demand of geothermal cave pools the caves sometimes get a little busy but sometimes they are completely empty. (Beau Jo's Pizza) Afterward, we will eat lunch at Beau Jo's. The building has been around since 1880 and is one of Colorado's hidden gems. Idaho Springs has a population of 1,717 people and is a gold mining town founded in 1859 during the Gold Rush. If you want an experience with little risk and a whole lot of reward, this tour is for you. I provide all the equipment, just come properly dressed and get ready to explore all of what colorful Colorado has to offer in one single day. Other things to note In order to do this hike: *Note: The geothermal caves are gender separated, but if you let us know 2 weeks prior we can reserve a private bathe or outdoor jacuzzi.

Hikes will depart rain or shine : ) Uber and Lyft both come here and cost between $20-$30 one way. I will give you specific directions for our meeting place & from there we'll hit the trail at an easy pace. I'll give you some of the history of the area & show you amazing views for photos. This is one of Colorado's most beautiful hikes. If you are looking for an easy hike that is jam packed with gorgeous views, this hike is definitely for you! It's well worth rising early to take this hike, when the sun first hits the rocks - the views will take your breath away. We'll take plenty of time for picture taking & rest stops. It's a 1.5 mile hike. There is a slight elevation rise on the last 1/2 of the walk that is very doable for even novice hikers. We stop often so there is plenty of time to take in the view, take amazing photos & catch your breath. The time of the hike varies between 70 and 90 minutes depending on the size of the group. You will leave with incredible photos that your friends will envy. Along the way, if we are lucky, we will see some of the wildlife that call the park home. We'll end the hike back where we started & you can visit the amphitheater on your own while enjoying snacks & a Cold Frappuccino I provide. This is an easy to lightly moderate hike good for most skill levels. There is a gradual incline of 325 feet.

Colorado at it's finest! Enjoy a magical sunset behind snowy peaks and a 1.5-2.5 hour easy/moderate hike. We'll stop for a break (feel free to bring snacks and drinks along), and will end the hike before it's completely dark. Transportation can be provided from the meeting spot to the trailhead for up to 4 guests; we encourage people to bring their own transportation. Guests who provide their own transportation and help drive others are eligible for a $10 refund. All level hikers are welcome but hikers should be in good physical shape and able to walk uphill for 1-2 hours at high altitude. Minimum group size is 2 hikers. We will hike along an easy trail located less than 10 minutes outside of Boulder that will allow us to take in epic mountain views along a looped trail. Discover the wonders of the night sky just outside of Boulder with our all-ages tour! Accessible by car, Taxi, Lyft & Uber, the tour starts at sunset and lasts for 2 hours. A professional astronomer will guide you through the cosmos with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will explore the wonders of our universe including planets, constellations, star navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, and even shooting stars (if lucky). You'll be able to take in the breathtaking beauty of these celestial objects through our telescopes with your own eyes. The tour takes place at an easy-to-find trailhead, and there's no hiking required. You'll have the chance to see phenomenal sunsets and wildlife in the area. We provide our guests with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water (upon request). We encourage our guests to bring questions, a sense of wonder, and warm clothing (as it can get cool after sunset). We can accommodate most requests for availability to fit your travel plans (the sooner the request, the better - we prefer to have at least 1 week's notice). Join us at a beautiful trail nestled in the foothills of Denver! This is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the Rockies without a long drive. This trail is located 30 minutes from Denver and it's easily accessible year-round. We will go on a leisurely walk to explore the scenic views while photographically documenting the experience. We are seasoned photographers with over 500 5-star reviews across all platforms! Details: * Consider choosing a weekday to avoid crowds. * This is a private experience. You will not be booked with strangers. * The trail is easy to navigate for beginners and children. “Valerie is an awesome host, she made the whole experience very fun and delightful. She is great at bringing the group of strangers together in such a short time. And the goats are just fantastic.” We begin our goat hike at the STAGE STOP, 20 minutes West of Boulder. After introducing ourselves, some Western lore, and the "girls" (goats), we'll start our hike of 2.4 miles through the historic living museum beginning with the Cloud City mining district. I’ll tell stores from the miners’ journals as I point out relics from their lives and mines. You will be selfing with the goats, taking panoramic pics of the mountain scenery and enjoying the mountain climb. You'll be seeing old mine portals, the school house and root cellar, stone walls, gold mine tunnels and stone cabin foundations. The land reveals many secrets of the past that I'll be sharing them with you. Along the way there is time for water and breathing. Depending on group size and weather, the famous Downhill Goat Race will conclude our adventure. Each hiker steers his/her goat down the hillside to the winner’s circle. Back to the STAGE STOP, where we began, I'll offer lunch ideas and local adventures you might enjoy. Then we bid adieu. "The hike with Valerie and her goats was the highlight of our trip. We kick things off at the Mile High Steps of the Colorado State Capitol & hit the streets for our walking cultural & history adventure of Denver. We'll explore Denver's Civic Center & hip LoDo (Lower Downtown) areas together, including 11 of our favorite sights while also digging into the great culture & history that make our Mile High City so unique. If you're the type that likes a little bit of everything: history, culture, art, & architecture; this tour's for you. This experience also takes you to the old Carnegie Library, the famous Art Museum complex, the gorgeous Civic Center Park, & our U.S. Mint, where you'll hear some epic heist stories. We'll then walk a few blocks to LoDo to visit the famous Big Blue Bear, two must-sees: Larimer Square and Union Station, & more. Your adventure begins at a cafe conveniently located in central Denver. After a short introduction we will head to the hills and carpool to the hiking trail. On your hike you will learn about nature, get to know new friends, take water and snack breaks, and take heaps of pictures of the breathtaking views. The hike is about 3 miles depending on the ability of the hikers and length of the trail. After the hike we will return to the cafe. All of our hiking experiences are personalized based on the size of the group and ability of the hikers. We offer both group and private hikes, corporate events, large parties welcome! We cannot wait to show you the beauty in Denver’s back yard!
