This 200 year old cottage is located in a peaceful location with far reaching views from the stable door. It’s perfectly located for walkers with mountains and lakes just waiting to be explored. Cyclists can also challenge themselves on the many hills around the area, including the infamous Stwlan Dam climb. Local attractions such as Zip World, Antur Stiniog and Llechwedd Slate Caverns are a few minutes away. The cottage is also ideally located for visiting nearby Porthmadog and Betws y Coed.

Tucked away in the traditional Welsh village of Penmachno, surrounded by hills and forests, it's one of the hidden gems of Snowdonia National Park. Centrally located, it is a terrific location from which to explore.

The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

At 1150 feet above sea level Hafod y Rhedwydd is one of the 12 highest houses in Wales and completely off-grid - private water supply, electricity by petrol generator, broadband via satellite - in the Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by National Trust land with amazing views. The cottage lies 8 miles from Betws y Coed on the northern edge of the Migneint, a 200 square mile SSSI and Conservation Area that is home to a rich variety of wildlife including Hen Harriers and polecats.

Rhiw Goch Cottage is a spacious detached one bedroom stone-built cottage with wood burner dating from the 18th century or earlier. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track. My charming cottage, Bwthyn (the Welsh word for “cottage”!) is set in a superb location in the very heart of Snowdonia. Located in Capel Curig, probably the best destination in North Wales for climbing, hillwalking and mountain biking, this cosy cottage makes the perfect base for an adventurous or relaxing break in this stunning part of the world. And the best bits – the gorgeous hand made cedar hot tub and the fabulous view of Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales!

My cottage is a mid terraced small miners cottage, perched high above Blaenau FFestiniog with stunning views in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. You have access straight into the mountains. It is beautifully warm in the winter and in the summer catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Zip World, Bounce Below , the LLechwedd Slate Caverns and the FFestiniog Railway are all close by.
