Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Our cottage is self contained and attached to our house. The gardens are shared with us but are very spacious. There is a sunken hot tub in the garden. Set in a tranquil Peak District village with local pub, there's a small shop in the pub that's open during pub opening hours. Perfect location for walkers, climbers or cyclists and there are several lovely National Trust houses, including Chatsworth, within easy driving distance. Ashbourne is our local market town.
