Architecturally Designed Townhouse in Trendy Central Halifax

The property received the Governor General of Canada Medal for Excellence in Architecture. Only a few minutes walk to up-scale restaurants, bars, music venues, corner stores, historic waterfront, shopping district, major hospitals, Dalhousie University, Citadel Hill, Halifax Commons, skating oval. We've been living in the adjacent townhouse for 28 years. We're only a knock on the door or a phone call away if you need anything! This is a vibrant yet peaceful, culturally diverse area. It's only a short walk to up-scale restaurants, bars, and music venues. There's also the historic waterfront, a shopping district, Dalhousie University, Citadel Hill, and Halifax Commons. Walking is ideal. One parking space is provided on site (just in front of unit -furthest one left facing Maynard Place) and a public transit stop is down the street. Two private entrances - one of ground level and one on deck level.

Enjoy this spacious two story house located between the MacDonald and MacKay bridges! We have everything needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfortable king bed, wifi, TV with 4K Apple TV, full kitchen, and a private back yard with a patio. There is a second airbnb unit at the front of the house, however, there are no shared spaces and no doorway connecting the two units. I live here for part of the year and rent it out short term while away. If you smoke please do so outside of the house.

Westend suite

CENTRAL ground floor suite in our home, with private entry. Located on a treelined residential street, within a 30 minute walk/10 minute drive to most major destinations on the Halifax Peninsula, including universities, hospitals, commons, and downtown core. Bus routes only steps away. Laundromat, grocery store, and shopping mall are also within walking distance. Perfect setup for two, can stretch up to four with the sofa bed in the main living space. There is ample, free parking on our street.

Separate 1 BR, Lakefront close to Halifax downtown

This suite is attached to a private home with separate entrance and deck area. Located on lake where swimming, paddle boarding and relaxing on lake front dock are encouraged. One bedroom with king size bed and on-suite bath, kitchen area with island, desk and living area with fireplace. Pullout couch allows for second sleeping area (no blinds if using pullout). Deck is equipped with furniture and BBQ. Hot tub & paddle boards are available for your use. Parking for one car. Shared yard.

Cozy West End 2-bed apartment

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the west end of Halifax. Apartment is located in a two unit house on a quiet residential street. Excellent central location, close to the vibrant North end of Halifax, close to downtown Halifax, and easy access to the highway and public transportation. Close to Halifax shopping center. Beds are both Queen size. Plenty of on street parking and guests can park a vehicle in our driveway on the premises when the winter parking ban is in effect.

A very convenient location; a 10-second walk from the bus stop, a two-minute walk from a grocery store, cafés, brewery, laundromat, hair salon, and restaurants. Enjoy a very private Short-term Bedroom Rental in my house with a non-smoking private deck and a nice kitchenette with a dining area. Free street parking is nearby and I pay up to two-night indoor parking ($8/day) during the winter parking Ban. Not suitable for children/pets.
