The Latin term “Mansio” describes a place to pass the night whilst travelling. This sweet cottage has been lovingly furnished and styled with luxury linen and high-quality bedding and furniture. With a large backyard and furnished outdoor patio, there is plenty of room for children and pets to run free! This Mansio, or Maison - as they say in French - is centrally located on Macquarie Street, within walking distance to parks, sporting fields, shops, walking trails, clubs and restaurants.

The Caroo cottage is a well built shack that provides all the necessities that you'll need. From grabbing a cuppa to fishing down on the banks with the kids, it really reveals nature in the best way. From the sunrise to the sunset. Shower and toilet are external access only. It has access to wifi for all your technology needs. Pets are aloud but they are NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR BATHROOM!!! If you would like fishing rods please advise in a message. Enquire for early check in!

You’ll love my place because its located in a quaint village where you can unwind, go for walks, eat in or out or enjoy visiting Shoyen Gardens, Zoo, Wellington Caves, live show (DRTCC) or the cultural centre. You could be wanting somewhere special to stay for a night, a few days weeks or months. The cottage has all modern comforts & is a contemporary interior. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and business travellers. Pet fee $15 per pet / per night.

The Ponderosa Farm Stay

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. We have 120 aces of mainly farming land with horses , chickens , cats and dogs. If you like fishing then you are welcome to catch a few on the Macquarie river which is on the property. Our horses are all trotters who are all trained here on our track. The accommodation is fully fenced and we are pet friendly. We do prefer dogs to stay outside and are definitely not to be left unattended inside the tiny house.

Gortaderra - Self Contained Unit - on 33 acres

Self contained unit - on 33 acres - attached to end of our house but private. Close to town and close to the zoo. Set on 33 acres with big gardens this is a one bedroom unit with pull out sofa in lounge room, bathroom and kitchette. Breakfast provisions are left in the unit for guests. A large BBQ area is situated adjacent to the unit for guest use. Pet friendly with pet enclosure available. Extra charge per night for pets.
