See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. Clubhouse located 50 yards with volleyball, pool, and boat ramp.

Welcome to Colington Island. Located waterfront on the sound but minutes to the oceanfront. This 2 bedroom island cottage was built in 1955 and owned by Johnny Moore, the last living witness of the 1903 Wright Brothers first flight. He was one of 5 that witnessed and assisted the Wright Brothers on December 17, 1903. The cottage is located on Johnny's homestead from the early 1900s. Come stay in a historic cottage on the water with kayaks!

Ocean Front Beach House Kearney Castle

Enjoy a home right on the beach. You can see the ocean from most rooms. Sit on the deck and see your family play on the beach, simmer in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, walk to fish head pier, minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. This is a great beach get away for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season (from April thru September) we only do full week Sunday to Sunday rentals.
