The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

You'll have surprising privacy from main house, proximity to small-town amenities like grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants, and short drive to favorites such as Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob in Pendleton County, West Virginia.

Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Whip up a gourmet meal in the small but well-appointed kitchen. Three dining areas offer options for dinner -- or a remote office, thanks to wifi. Sample nearby hiking, yoga, and farmers' market. We're a little rustic (no TV, AC, microwave, laundry or dishwasher) and a lot stylish!

Come enjoy the seclusion of this spacious manor. Great place to slow down, rest & relax. Spend time with your loved one in the private hot tub or grill and eat on the patio with views of the surrounding mountains and up the valley. Play games in the rec room or enjoy family time together in the large lawns in front and back of the house or around the fire pit.
