Gosling Lodge is situated within the grounds of a 16th Century working arable farm. Overlooking an attractive pond packed full of wildlife, Gosling Lodge is the perfect place to relax and take in the rural surroundings of Durham's countryside. "HAY LOFT" quiet rural location, close to Durham

The Loft is located above our garage in a large garden and field totalling 8 acres. We're at the end of a farm track in the middle of the countryside, half a mile from the nearest road meaning ZERO traffic noise. The headroom is kind of tight along the two sides but, at 6 feet tall I manage okay. Perfect for two, but can easily cope with 4 people. The Loft is accessed by external concrete steps. The accommodation is not suitable for children but we've squeezed them in on occasions.

With easy access to major road networks and transport links from our home, We are in an ideal location for commuting to or exploring the nearby Cities of Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle which are bursting with culture and attractions. To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland
