New Lodge Cabin

A cabin on wheels, made from locally sourced oak and larch. Set within a meadow, surrounded by woodland in Sherwood Forest. Shower with underfloor heating in a shepherd hut. Compost toilets. Outdoor pot washing facilities and dining area. A perfect off grid stay. Our smallholding has sheep, goats and chickens which graze often in the meadow depending on the season. Sherwood Forest and Sherwood Pines are all within walking/cycle distance. NO CAMPFIRES OR FIREPITS TO BE USED AT THE MOMENT

The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. The Barn, Hollybush, Laxton is the perfect peaceful getaway for couples, families, dog walkers & cyclists. Set in the Nottinghamshire countryside close to Sherwood Forest, Laxton is England's last open field village, yet only 7 mins from the A1. Situated next to the delightful Dovecote Inn and ten minutes from the popular Duke William at Askham, guests can choose to eat out or eat in. This beautiful property is the South Wing of Edwinstowe Hall, constructed in 1701 for the First Earl of Scarborough. The property a stone’s throw from Sherwood Forest and neighbours Saint Mary's Church, where legend has it Robin Hood and Maid Marion were married. The Hall itself sits in on the heart of the village and has many pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. it is stunningly decorated and furnished to a modern standard having recently been renovated.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
