Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Koselig leilighet i Eidkjosen, Tromsø

Velkommen til vår koselig leilighet i fredelige Eidkjosen ca 16 km utenfor Tromsø Sentrum. Perfekt for deg som vil oppleve naturen og være litt utenfor bykjernen. Her finner du skiløyper og fjellturer i nærheten. Leiligheten er ca 30 kvm, har egen inngang, 1 soverom, eget bad og stue og et nydelig kjøkken. Det er gode bussforbindelser og 2,5 km til dagligvarebutikk. Det er en butikk som ligger ca 500 m fra leiligheten, men denne er for tiden stengt pga nybygging. Den åpner igjen våren 2027.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Velkommen til vår nyoppussede leilighet på vakre Kvaløya. Nyt utsikten mot havet og fjellene i lyse og moderne omgivelser. Leiligheten har stue med Smart-TV, komfortabel dobbeltseng og et praktisk kjøkken for enkle måltider. Perfekt for deg som ønsker å oppleve den arktiske naturen. Om vinteren kan du se nordlyset, og om sommeren nyte midnattssolen. Dagligvarebutikk ligger 5 min unna med bil, pizzeria 10–15 min, og Tromsø sentrum ca. 25–30 min. Gratis parkering og Wi-Fi.

Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.
