The Lawrence Farmhouse

The 121 year old Lawrence Farmhouse was hand built by the Lawrence family in 1903 and is located on the Lawrence Farm in Fayette County, Alabama. The Lawrence Farm is a registered USDA and Alabama Century and Heritage Farm and has been in continuous agricultural production by the same family for over 150 years. The Lawrence farm is also a registered Alabama Tree Farm and Alabama Treasure Forest. The Farmhouse is often used by the family for stays during Hunting season.

Our miners tent here at Tack Tavern Ranch is set in the foothills of the Appalachians on a 100 acre working horse ranch. This tent has 2 cots with pillows and blankets. A portable fan. The half bath is a short walk along the driveway. And an outdoor shower that uses shower bags. What used to be the old coal mining town of Howard Alabama is now a beautiful place of spectacular views and a pure country setting.
