Welcome to our cute, cosy, comfortable property in central Featherston! Set on a 2000sqm section with lovely established trees & pretty flowers, the property has a country feel whilst being conveniently close to shops, restaurants, transport, SH2 to Wellington, and a short walk to the train. There is abundant bird life, and occasionally chickens stroll through the property. With sun galore, you'll enjoy the warm second living room (or 4th bedroom) at the rear which opens up to the sunny deck.

Remutaka Retreat - Fantail Cottage.

Fantail Cottage, is a private, tranquil retreat nestled among regenerating native trees with views over bush clad hills. 8kms north of Upper Hutt. 1km to Remutaka Cycle Trail, and Pakuratahi mountain bike trails, 3kms to Te Marua Golf Course and Wellington Speedway. A great base for outdoor activities, or just a quiet weekend get away from city life without having to travel for hours. Upper Hutt City has many restaurants, fast food outlets and Brewtown, a destination for craft beer lovers.

Greytown Yurts - Luxurious Glamping Experience

Greytown yurts is luxury accommodation with all the fun and appeal of glamping but with total comfort. There is a ducted heat pump to keep you comfortable all year round. The interior offers a luxurious and calming environment, with beautiful views across our garden. It has a very comfortable king size bed (183 * 203 cm), with superior linen, bedding, towels and robes. A one off cleaning fee and 20% service charge will be added to the price. White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

On the edge of beautiful Greytown but within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants and shops, we have created the perfect retreat. Our beautiful purpose built B&Bs are set in their own courtyard gardens within our potager garden. We supply breakfast museli, fruit, orange juice, milk, a loaf of local Ciabatta bread, butter, marmalade, jam, tea & coffee for you to enjoy at your leisure. There are views across the farmland to the Taurua Ranges and amazing night skies.

Cosy Cabin ~outdoor bath~stars~donkeys

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area. Relax in the ~bath~ under the stars. We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet barky Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly. One small fur baby allowed. Please advise when booking.

Welcome to our luxury peaceful escape location. Just 60 minutes from Wellington, your private suite overlooks Lake Wairarapa and is surrounded by farmland, bush and lake views and includes your own private spa and gardens - a perfect place to escape, gaze at the night sky, and relax. Single nights available Sunday-Thursday, no cleaning fees, a light breakfast is included, and a kitchen and BBQ are available for self-catering.
