Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2-4 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

The property is a 5 minute walk from the beach, golf courses & town centre. Please note this is an attic flat and there are a few flights of stairs to go up to reach the property.

There is one bathroom - a bath, separate shower, a living room with comfortable sofas and wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen/diner.There is a secure garden to the side and the back of the cottage with a patio and an open front garden that leads onto the beach.The beachfront location provides stunning views whatever the weather. It is ideal for a relaxing break or for a family holiday exploring the surrounding area.

The Bryntie is an ideal place to stay for couples

Self-contained studio apartment set in a quiet street with easy walking distance to train station, shops, restaurants, beach and Carnoustie Golf Course. A bright, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge consists of a sofa and mounted TV. Kitchen area is well equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge. Upstairs bedroom with double bed and shower room. Off road parking directly in front of property. Travel to Arbroath, Dundee, Aberdeen or Edinburgh easily by train or bus.

‘ Burgher Chapel- Converted Church’

Newburgh, Fife is an historical town. In the 18th century linen was woven in weaving sheds and cottages which still reflects in its architecture today. The town is sandwiched between the river Tay and a hillside providing ample walks and other sport activities. Many visitors start on the ‘ Fife Coastal Walk’ from this location. The chapel has excellent wifi. The town is self sufficient with shops, post office, chemist, doctors, dentist, garage, gallery and its very own distillery!
