Surrounded on 4 sides by farmland, the location is perfect for walkers (a private gate opens onto Offa’s Dyke) as well as those exploring Shropshire and Mid Wales. Our spacious and airy hut has everything you need, all under one roof - luxury fitted shower room, flushing toilet, central heating & kitchen. Sit on the decking & drink in the views of Montgomery and the surrounding hills.

It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a log burner and QLED TV. Super fast fibre broadband throughout.

Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above Upper Rectory is our delightful shepherd’s hut, well equipped for your arrival - idyllically located overlooking tranquil pastures and woodland, it, provides a cosy romantic and welcoming retreat, with a traditional wood burner to warm up the evenings. Ideal for walking and cycling, nearby nature reserve is home to 170 species of birds. Please note that WiFi is at best sporadic due to the rural location.

Our accommodation is perfect for single travellers, couples or a small group of friends wishing to explore the area. Perfect location for walking Offas Dyke. The canal path runs 200 yards away. Snowdon is about 90 mins drive away.

The Garden House

Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.
