One of the best Brow views in Mentone. Enjoy sunsets by the fire pit with stunning valley views and hills below. Large lot with privacy and deer sightings. Cozy cabin with large bedrooms and living area. Close to waterfalls, hiking trails, climbing, kayaking and Mentone itself. Desoto Falls entrance within 2 miles. Desoto State Park entrance 3 miles. Johnnie’s Hideaway

Johnnie’s Hideaway sits on a private wooded lot on Johnnie’s Creek. Close to destinations such as Little River Canyon, Mentone, Desoto State Park, Weiss Lake, are all a short drive. Our cabin sleeps six with a queen bed on main floor, and two full beds in loft area. Main floor has 2 baths with utility room, fully appointed kitchen, dining/living room combo which features a two story rock fireplace with gas logs. A covered wrap around porch & sun deck on the back make great outdoor spaces.

A stone's throw away from Little River Canyon National Preserve, this peaceful place is as quiet as it gets. Quick access to hiking, climbing, kayaking, swimming and all around adventuring. Staying here makes it convenient to do all of the above or you can kick back, relax and do nothing at all. Don't forget to take a peek at the night sky, with almost no light pollution, the stars shine bright. (located 20 min from the middle of Fort Payne, 40 min from Mentone, 40 min from Gadsden)
