Visit Civil War Sites from a Private Stone Cottage

Host a dinner for eight around a rustic table then retire to a comfy living room under the crystal chandelier. Whitewashed brick and timber walls provide a stylish backdrop in rooms filled with unique furnishings and original artwork. Whether it’s a family retreat, a corporate day meeting, or video/photo shoot, you will love the cozyness and warmth of The Rock House on Battle Ave. A local interior decorator, known for her eclectic farm + modern style, and her husband purchased “The Rock House” from an estate and began creating this cozy abode. The new open floor plan connects two large living spaces, with a centrally located kitchen and half bath, creating a functional and homey flow. In addition, the downstairs includes two bedrooms, with a master bath connected to the master bedroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms that share a large bathroom. The nooks, angles, exposed beams and raw wood, combined with the timeless stone exterior, will make you feel like you have arrived at the country cottage you have always dreamed of. This is a full house rental with parking for 3-4 cars. Laundry Room with Washer and Dryer. The stone garage has a ping-pong table for family fun and the back den is full of board games, or you can enjoy the back yard fire pit. Split firewood onsite. The owners live in Franklin and are accessible if needed. Just send us a message and we will respond within minutes. Franklin is a quiet neighborhood destination for relaxing. It's a great launching point for exploring all that Middle Tennessee has to offer. The house is a couple of blocks from historic Civil War sites, and a shady 20-minute walk to downtown shops. The shaded walk to downtown is through quiet streets. Take a right and stroll down Battle Ave, then a quick leap over Columbia to Gist, then a left on Adams, left on 5th and arrive in the heart of Franklin.

Breezeway Guest House - Franklin, TN

Secluded, serene and private, the Guest House is a 2-story cottage that is attached to the main house through a breezeway. Downstairs are complete living quarters and a full bath, and upstairs is a spacious loft bedroom with two queen beds. The Guest House has a separate driveway, entrance and HVAC. Meant to look like an addition to the original farmhouse on the property, both were custom built in 2002 and have been featured in The Tennessean newspaper for their unique architecture and design.

Rose Cottage charms her guests. This Victorian home was built in the 1890's and lies within the original surveyed five block square area of Historic Downtown Franklin. Rose Cottage is about a two minute walk to The Square and to Franklin's main attractions, venues and restaurants. There is no struggle to find a place to park with its location being closer than much of the available parking. It is quite convenient in the evening to be able to walk home from an evening spent downtown!
