The Mistle is a gorgeous, quaint cottage (sleeps 4) at the far end of a historic barn. Located in the friendly village of Brockholes near Holmfirth, accessible by train, it's perfect families and friends looking for a base for a short break. It's also a great base for working. Recently renovated, you'll find it attractive, cosy and well-equipped. The cottage sits across a cobbled courtyard from our house so we're here to help. Includes parking, fast wifi and great outdoor space. Dog friendly.

This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

The Flat, Shepley secure parking & welcome hamper

A spacious, detached and self-contained one bedroom flat - access via steps with handrail. It is just 5 mins walk from the village train station with access to Manchester, Leeds and direct to Sheffield. It has open plan living, dining, kitchen and study areas with separate shower room and parking within a private gated driveway. No use of main garden but has french windows, juliet balcony and a lovely garden view. Ideal for a relaxing break. Close to Holmfirth, Yorkshire and Peak District.

The Cottage at Horstead Farm

A lovely 1 bedroom cottage which is very well equipped with every luxury, central heating, full cooking facilities including air fryer, microwave and full oven and hob. Set in a beautiful country village which is peaceful and picturesque and yet on the main road through the village and so is easy to find. Perfect for walking holidays as there are many footpaths and Bridlepaths. Village pub offering home made food most days. Very peaceful environment.

Our little cottage is the perfect base for visits to the local tourist attractions, such as Hebden Bridge, Haworth (home of the Bronte's), York and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, to name but a few. And if you're into walking and taking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, then look no further, you could start with the Calderdale Way or the stunning North Yorkshire National Park which is only an hours drive away.
