You know your holiday has begun as soon as you arrive at Carrick Shore. It's beautiful sea views and restful atmosphere create a holiday to remember. Tucked away on the beautiful Galloway Coast in the South West of Scotland, this delightful pine chalet has all the comforts for a relaxed break. Set in its own grounds, this chalet is part of a group of beach houses, a stones throw from the sea. You just need to step out onto the decking to enjoy the views and interact with the local wildlife.

This bespoke, purpose built wooden chalet features open plan living kitchen and dining area with wood burning stove and two spacious en-suite bedrooms with super king beds, that can be converted to twin beds. All rooms open onto a private patio with outdoor seating so you can relax and enjoy spectacular views and sunsets over the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area; then once the sun goes down, enjoy the stunning star-filled night skies of the Galloway Dark Sky Park. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance and outdoor space, it offers peace, privacy and relaxation. The light-filled bedroom sits within the eaves and features large Velux windows with sea views, perfect for stargazing beneath the dark skies of Sandgreen. Just a short stroll from the beach and coastal walks, ideal for couples and their four-legged friend.

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

Depending on the weather, you can luxuriate in the outdoor bath, or be cozy beside the wood burning stove enjoying a sea view. A perfect destination for exploring Galloway and is 1/2 mile from GGS Yard Wedding venue.

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

The Steading

An award winning conversion of a traditional Galloway steading into a three bed-roomed, dog friendly holiday cottage, completed to very high standards, peacefully situated on the farm. A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet and the activities offered in the area. Castle Creavie is a fully working farm that is only a short distance from the harbour town of Kirkcudbright. Being a working farm, there is a lot to see and do on site.
