Enjoy this beautiful retreat that will provide you a peaceful and FUN getaway. Our home sits on one of the “fingers” of Wixom Lake and currently has a small stream running through (not accessible). If you're not familiar with this area the dams failed in 2020 but there is still a ton to enjoy on the property and the surrounding area. The home features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, separate rec room (pool table, dart board, bar, arcade, tv) BBQ grill, hot tub, scavenger hunt, yard games, etc.....

In 2020 the Edenville dam on Wixom lake failed, draining the lake & returning it to the river it was 95 years ago. This house now sits on hundreds of acres of ancient stumps & emerging forest on a dry lake bottom with a picturesque river running through it, ready for you to explore. You'll love your stay in this clean cottage with its covered patio, working fireplace & breathtaking sunset views.

Beautiful 2BR+Loft Cottage with amazing views!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The cottage sits at the highest point on the river, with a deck & fire pit overlooking the river providing a breath taking view from sunrise to sunset! Theres a cozy loft for sleeping, and a sun room where you can relax and read all day long. 1/2mile away you have access to 100s of miles of trails for hiking and ATVs. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

The Cozy Den is the perfect place to enjoy a more peaceful, relaxing time. With it's unique log cabin design you'll feel like you've just transported yourself and your family to the good old days. Enjoy the lake located across the gravel drive from the cabin. Kids can play at the waters edge(“beach”area is tiny but keeps kids busy for hours) spot to put in rafts, kayaks & the paddle board) Plenty of bass to catch from shore too. Enjoy nighttime Bon fires and board games at night to wind down.

Quiet Getaway

Quiet vacation home on Wixom Lake. While the lake is gone at the moment, it’s still a nice get away location. Large side yard for parking or tents. A fire pit in the yard for a relaxing evening. The house has three bedrooms, including a double bunk bed in one room and a master suite & central heat/ac A recent addition of a garage, entryway and loft have changed the look of the place. Contact us about adding the garage space to your rental. All the amenities of home are available for use.

Enjoy stunning views of Tittabawassee River! 3 bedrooms (1 king & 2 queen beds) and a set of bunk beds in the sunroom, sleeps 8. 2 full baths. Finished garage/game room, gazebo, fire pit and gas log fireplace. Close to 5 area wedding venues! Easy access off M-61 on a paved road. Currently we enjoy the natural flow of the Tittabawassee River but please note that there no good access point to get on/in the water. Restoration of the dam creating the lake is estimated to be complete in 2026.

Home is also located near ATV and snowmobile trails and hunting preserves. When the water returns home boast 280 feet of waterfront on a canal leading out into Wixom Lake.

Lakeview cabin and guest house with full access to all sports Elk Lake with large space to tie off pontoon, jet skies or boat. Free access to kayak. Fire pit with beautiful view of Elk Lake. Plenty of sleeping space so this cabin is perfect for large families as well as hunting/fishing groups or girls/ boys weekends! "Rustic” cabin on main part of Secord Lake. Swimming & Kayaking only. Must be 25 or up to be the primary renter .Two Kayaks are available for you to use. Beautiful view overlooking the water. Amazing sunsets. Peaceful mornings. Large windows to enjoy the view . Indoor bathroom with an outside shower. (No inside shower or tub) Two beds in the loft. Picnic table and patio set with 4 chairs. Firepit area near beach. Quiet, peaceful area. No parties please.
