Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

The Cwtch, Boughrood, Bochrwyd.

The Cwtch is an absolutely delightful, oak beamed studio to sleep two adults, in a king (& 2 children on a sofa bed) in a beautiful, old stone converted farm building. King size bed, shower room and basic self catering facilities. Bochrwyd is a tiny village with an excellent village shop and a pub, both within 5 minutes walk! We are very close to the Begwyn hills, Black mountains and the Beacons. Hay-on Wye, Brecon and Builth are 15 minutes away. Sofa bed bedding and cot available if required.

Close by is Brecon whereby access to the old Brecon and Monmouth canal and the ever popular Brecon Beacons national park are so easily accessible.

This self-contained studio is the perfect location for cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding, fishing, wild swimming, and exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. A footpath at the door, with just a 5 min walk to the river and approx. 1 mile to the Offa's Dyke path which takes you to Hay Bluff. Very pleasant footpath/ bike route to the town . It has stunning views of the Black Mountains and across Herefordshire, with the Malvern Hills visible in the distance on a clear day. The cottage provides the perfect base for exploring Hay-on-Wye and the surrounding area.
