Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Tere are 4 Bedrooms - 2 doubles, a single bedroom and a twin bedroom; 2.5 Bathrooms, WiFi and parking for 2 cars. The ground floor including a double bedroom with step free en suite shower room. It is ideal for touring Donegal or chilling out with friends or family. This early 19th century farmhouse has been renovated with sustainability in mind.

The cottage is located in Stragally Co Donegal between the towns of Ballybofey and Glenties which offer many shops pubs, restaurants, traditional music etc.

It is within a 3 minute walk to the local village. It is close to surfing beaches, Mount Errigal, Glenveagh National Park, Dunfanaghy and Gweedore. This is an ideal location for anyone interested in outdoor activities and the Gaeilge culture.

Joe's Cottage

Set in 20 acres of private land, Joe's Cottage is a classic Irish long cottage located in Cloghan, in the heart of County Donegal. Carefully restored in 2015, the cottage’s interior is decorated in a ‘modern cottage’ style, whilst retaining a traditional feel. The comfortable furnishings, log burners, original artworks and attention to detail make this such a special place to stay.
