Miss Trimble's @ Dene Lodge, cosy Cornish cottage

You'll never forget your trip to Miss Trimble's Cottage! Miss Trimble's Cottage is named after the first ever resident, Elizabeth Trimble, who lived here in the 1850's. It's the wing of Dene Lodge, a beautiful Victorian "Gentleman's residence" in the heart of the parish of Morwenstow. Just a few minutes from the dramatic Coast Path it is fabulously placed for exploring this stunning area. Endless walks and gorgeous beaches are all very close, so dogs are welcome to join you on your holidays.

The Barley Mill

The Barley Mill is an enchanting 19th century Cornish Mill hidden deep within the Marsland Nature Reserve. Described as something out of a fairytale, think Hansel & Gretal, the Mill is incredibly fortunate to be one of the very few cottages in the reserve itself, where you are afforded some of the most spellbinding views of the ancient woodland where you can sit back and relex to the sound of the river. It's a miles walk through the woods to the coast where you can bask on Marsland Mouth Beach.

At our doorstep you will find the South West Coastal path leading you along stunning coastal views & ancient landmarks, as well as picturesque valleys, hills and woods away from the sea to enjoy hikes & cycle rides. The beautiful beaches of Sandymouth, Bude and Widemouth Bay are close attracting surfers all year around.

It has a private, enclosed garden with an electric hot tub (an additional extra which is booked for the duration of the stay: 2nights=£70, 3=£100. 4=£125, 5=£145, 6=£160, 7=£160) and parking for two cars. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player, a super king bed and twin beds (and a cot if needed.) We are walking distance from the shop, coast path and pub, with 3 stunning beaches close by.

But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.

The Chalet is a self-contained wood-built cabin in the grounds of Haven View, perched on the side of the valley and overlooking the dramatic cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven. This quaint detached barn is full of character and peace (no WIFI). There is an open plan kitchen/living area with a cosy log burner ( logs available at £7 cash a net) and a slate topped breakfast bar. The property has solid oak flooring throughout except for slate in the bathroom so don’t forget your slippers! The kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle.
