Central to the areas activities, the days can seem short with easy access to Fontana Lake, the Appalachian Trail, Tsali Recreation Area, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Nantahala Gorge, & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy an evening by the firepit after a day of adventures. We look forward to your stay!

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest.
