My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Wandering Creek Cottage ~no cleaning fee~

Get away to a fairytale like cottage in the woods. This adorable little home is built on a hillside next to a mountain creek. You will be able to enjoy relaxing on the screened in back porch that is high up in the trees. Listen to the sounds of the babbling brook, bird calls, and breath in the fresh air of the forest. The tin roof creates a cozy sound on rainy days while you can cuddle up on a comfy couch and nap or watch a favorite movie. Not to mention wonderful hiking trails all around!

Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

Enjoy your stay in this cozy cabin. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a large living room with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe.
