The Stables

The original stable to historic 160 year old Telegraph House has been renovated to a self contained one bedroom guesthouse with new en-suite , living area and well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cooktop and coffee machine. The living area has a wood burner fireplace, table and chairs, sofa, television, internet (NBN) and French doors opening onto verandah. The property has a secure yard and stall for a horse - $20 per night - and plenty of secure off street parking for a rig.

Isobel Cottage c.1909

Isobel Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Denman. The home has a light airy feel in the Summer and exudes warmth and intimacy in the cooler months. Isobel Cottage is a leisurely 2 minute walk to the RSL Club, Memorial Park and Playground. Most town amenities are within a 5 minute walk including local hotels, cafes, convenience stores, and sporting facilities. The home is Air Conditioned throughout and large Bi-fold doors open on to the Al Fresco area. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Murray cottage

Murray is a two-bedroom cottage with two queen beds. It has beautiful views of neighbouring vineyards, and is quiet and peaceful. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. The cottage is five minutes drive from Hunter Valley galleries and major wineries and restaurants, and less than two hours from Sydney. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.

'Old Oakley' country farm stay

'Old Oakley' was formerly a pub known as 'The Rose Inn', and was transported from Merriwa town to the farm 'Oakley' in 1932. The Old School Weathershed is located in the small and vibrant village of Gundy, 20km east of Scone in the Upper Hunter. Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. The Old School of Gundy was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The Weather Shed is the children's playground shelter, beautifully converted into luxury guest accommodation.
