Das Haus Obernauer liegt 800 Meter hoch in ruhiger Wohnlage am Fuße des Hahnenkamms, des Hausberges von Kitzbühel , wo jährlich das berühmte Hahnenkammrennen der Streif stattfindet . Die Entfernung bis zur Talstation der Gondelbahn , ist auch über die nahegelegene Schiabfahrt direkt zu erreichen. Langlaufloipe in unmittelbarer Nähe Bis ins Zentrum , Hallenbad oder Bahnhof sind es ca. 10 Gehminuten . Wanderwege führen direkt vom Haus zum Schwarzsee oder über die Seidlalm auf den Hahnenkamm.
