Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Located just a little over an hour from Toronto, this cozy and unique lakefront cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing couples getaway. Offering private access to Lake Scugog with an oversized dock for you to take advantage of water activities, enjoy your morning coffee and watch some of the best sunsets on the lake. Hot tub, 5 bedrooms- 2hrs from Toronto

This cottage has lots of space & is a favourite for families or reunions. Even large groups will find they have room for private time and group hang outs. The river is slow moving and warm in the summer months but too cold and fast for swimming or boating in the off season (usually Nov-May). No development across the river and neighbours two lots away on either side makes for a private and quiet experience. A games room, board games, wii & gym space give you lots to do on rainy days.

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.
