The cabin is cosy, rustic and perfect for a fishing retreat or rural break. Recently updated with modern conveniences, free wifi, Apple TV and breaky supplies included. Axedale has a tavern, 18 hole golf course, general store, kids park and is 20 minutes to Bendigo, 10 mins to Lake Eppalock and 20 mins to Heathcote wine country.

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately

Beautiful views of the surrounding area and friendly locals to offer advice and great food if you choose to eat at their venues. This place is a gem and just a short drive from Melbourne.

Eppalock Hilltop Retreat is an Eco Friendly Tiny Home situated on 20 acres of secluded bushland in the Lyell State Forest. It boasts hilltop views of Mt Alexander and the Eppalock ranges where you will find an abundance of wildlife such as Kangaroos, Wallabies, Goannas and Lizards.
