Nature Lover's Getaway!

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

Light-filled Guesthouse Near Duke

Second floor of recently-built garage apartment in a charming, peaceful Durham neighborhood. Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Relax on the outdoor deck and enjoy the serene surroundings. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a solo adventure, our tiny house provides the perfect blend of simplicity and comfort. Close to hiking trails, local attractions, and more!

Guest Suite: Artist studio turned into loft.

A guest suite that's a former artist studio with 10-15 foot high windows and 20 foot high ceiling, converted into one bedroom loft with private entrance, bath, living area, and kitchenette. The space is attached to the rest of my house, but you'll have a private entrance, your own bathroom, living area and kitchenette and two seat dining table. You will not have access to a full kitchen. New in September 2025: Blackout curtains provide privacy at night and a darker room for sleeping in.

The Seed House: Octagonal Barn, Dog-Friendly!

Two blocks from the ❤︎ of charming Main St. Warrenton sits an unusually shaped barn. Octagonal living at its finest; The Seed House is fully renovated and features modern amenities like wifi, coffee, tea, kitchen basics, 100% cotton linens, smart TV, games, and yoga gear. The barn is nestled at the tree line, bordered by a huge lawn + gardens. Your stay will be relaxing and private and leave you with a special sense of place. *Dog-friendly with prior approval. Located within a short 10 minute drive of Kerr Lake; Satterwhite Retreat offers boaters, fisherman, motocross bikers and the entire family a relaxing getaway. Conveniently located off I-85, Satterwhite Retreat is in the heart of lake country & a short drive to Clarksville, VA, Warrenton, Oxford & Henderson, NC. Boat and RV parking available. A boat charging outlet is conveniently located adjacent to the parking area. TV's in living room and one guest bedroom. Well-lit for night arrivals.

A mural filled one bedroom suite with a full bath and kitchenette attached to our house with its own separate entrance. Located less than 5 minutes by car to downtown Durham with easy access for those who prefer to travel by bicycle or foot to the Ellerbee Creek trail. Centrally located to Duke University and Duke Medical. Perfect for longer stays for visiting professionals as well as shorter stays to enjoy all Durham has to offer.

Come experience the peace and quiet of this unique tiny house in the county. Curl up in this cozy queen-sized bed in the loft of this private bo-ho cottage. Fix coffee or meals in the kitchen and get some work done at the desk or on the outdoor dining table using the wi-fi. The shower has virtually unlimited hot water. You can also eat dinner or hang out in the hammock in the secret garden under the glow of bistro lights.

The home is near Kerr Lake Reservoir and is a 7-minute drive to Nutbush Creek Recreation area and boat ramp, and an 11-minute drive to Satterwhite Point Marina. It's perfect for families, fisherman, lake-goers, or travelers who prefer a home while visiting the area.
