A tastefully renovated 1 bedroom, fully self -contained Victorian cottage set in 3.5 acres of tranquil, park-like rural land. The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom, outside shower and bath. The cabin has either superking bed or 2 singles. Peaceful rural setting 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens with an organic garden and orchard. This accomodation is not suitable for children. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

Enjoy the birdsong, sunrise and daytime hours in the shady, tropical garden at the rear of the house with its generous outdoor seating and dining facilities, and take in the sunset from the deck and coastal garden in the front of the house.

We have a rustic cabin ,on a small lifestyle block. The cabin has 1 room with a double bed...a separate kitchen,which has a double gas ring cooker and fridge It is small and simple..a bush hut.. outside bathroom close by There is a small electric heater..electric blanket .. lots of animals close to waihi town,with all it's gold mining attractions.Close to the bike trail, and 12km from waihi beach.Lots of great bush walks and rivers to enjoy (can be insects. spiders..webs..)

Owharoa Hideaway

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. Theres now a wee outdoor patio area, extra comfy couches and the valleys finest loft-based chillzone that takes advantage of the awesome views of the surrounding hills.
