Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The falls are lit after dark, and 38 windows and skylights pull in daylight by day, then frame the stars at night. The Rosemary Cabin at Bluff Mountain Nursery. Nestled at the top of the hill in the heart of our plant nursery, you’ll be sure to be surrounded by beauty and nature a like. Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Creekside cottage

Charming creekside loft cottage. Perfect retreat for a romantic getaway or an adventure motorcycle ride in the beautiful scenery of pisgah national forest. Minutes away from max patch on the Appalachian trail and 30 mins from downtown Hotsprings. Relax listening to the beautiful sound of Meadowfork creek. Nestled feet away from the creek on what once was an 18 acre tobacco farm. Private bathhouse with shower/bathtub and toilet. Private fire pit, charcoal barbecue grill, picnic table, porch.

This is one of 3 identical apartments that are perched above the main street above a provisions shop/cafe and outfitters store. Walk to restaurants, brewery, natural hot springs spa, shops, river, and trails. Clean and comfortable and on the Appalachian Trail.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. A cozy cabin for couples, complete with a jetted tub! There’s a well outfitted kitchenette for all basic cooking needs and a covered porch that looks out to the Appalachian Trail and National Forest property. Convenient two minute drive or ten minute walking distance to Hot Springs downtown. Chickadee Cabin is part of Little Bird Cabin Rentals, owned and operated by local resident Natalie (that's me!).

The Music Box, rooftop deck, 25 min to AVL

The Music Box is a unique tiny home, located less than 3 miles from historic downtown Marshall, and is the ideal spot for a private mountain getaway. Enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer, with skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and white water rafting all within a 20-25 minute drive from the property. Less than 25 minutes to Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, and Hot Springs.
