Head to Reykjavik from a Modern Home

Blending blues, browns, and greys, the decor of this home has an inviting, calm ambiance reminiscent of Iceland's breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy high-up views from the windows, refresh under the rain shower, and sit out on the private terrace. Around the corner you will find the best bakery in town, Braud&Co and our local supermarket Kronan. New pictures coming, some changes, new furniture, infrared sauna from Saunaspace etc. Quiet and wonderful apartment with everything you need. New, very clean and spacious. If travelling from KEF Airport to Reykjavik area with the flybus, exit in Gardabaer at Aktu Taktu. Ask the bus driver to stop there. From there you need a taxi to Ljosakur or ask me for a pick up. A rental car is better :) We live above so don't hesitate to contact us. We will help and try to make your stay in Iceland perfect. Or enjoy the privacy. The home is in a great neighborhood that features a nice garden and playground with swimming pools, golf courses and a sports arena nearby. Reykjavik is a short drive away providing access to museums and exquisite restaurants. This is one of the safest place you can find in the city. We recommend to rent a car at the airport (KEF). It's easy to find your ways with a smartphone. If you don't have internet on your smartphone you can use our GPS (Garmin), it's in the apartment in the top drawer under the TV. Swimming pool, hot tubs, gym and golf courses very nearby. Heidmork, one of the most beautiful nature area near the city is nearby. Perfect for walking or cycling. Supermarkets, bakeries, stores and restaurants are near. A new supermaket (Kronan) is in walking distance.

Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Comfy cottage at the farm with a peaceful view

Take it easy in our unique and tranquil accommodation with a peaceful view ! The cottage lies within a farm where there are horses, sheep, chickens and dogs roaming around. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm also offers riding tours, and its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Gamla Pósthúsið

Gamla pósthúsið er mjög falleg íbúð sem við innréttuðum 2023 með fallegu útsýni yfir Ytri Rangá. Hella is very well located in the south. It is a short drive to many beautiful places. It’s really fun to stay in Hella for a few days and take a day trip to all the main places in the south. It is no problem to see the northern lights on Hella and if you drive 5-10 minutes you get out of all the street lights and manage to enjoy them even more.

The cabins are located in a remote area 15 minutes from Keflavik International Airport. The setting is on the Atlantic coastline so you can expect a nourishing breeze. All cabins come with a private hot tub. Cabins suit you well if you want to lay back & relax in nature. There is no light pollution around the cabins and it‘s a good place to see the Aurora borealis.
