There are many adventures to have in shopping, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing & just exploring the quaint towns of Bayfield, Pagosa & Durango.

Secluded Solar Cabin with Picturesque Views

Remote 300 sq ft solar powered cabin in the ponderosa forest 7 miles from the town of Mancos by Mancos State Park. Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

Vallecito Log Cabin with a View

Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Nestled into 11 acres of ponderosa pines, Durango Basecamp Cabin provides you the serenity of mountain living combined with the ease of accessing all that Durango has to offer in 10min. The Loft encompasses a cozy mountain cabin feel with modern updates and easy access to some of Southwest Colorado's best attractions. Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Strawbale Cottage

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

Granny’s Vintage Farmhouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a working farm and ranch. You might see cows in the pasture by the house or get to watch the farmer cut and bale hay. This house is within an hour of Mesa Verde National Park, fishing, hiking, river sports, Pagosa Springs hot springs, Purgatory and Wolf Creek ski resorts, Vallecito and Navajo Lakes, and within 5 minutes of the Sky Ute Casino and the Southern Ute museum. The views from this place are amazing.

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.

Conley Quarter Horse Ranch House

This cozy 3 bedroom house is just 5 minutes from Navajo Lake, and there is room to bring your boat! It is also right between Wolf Creek Ski area and Purgatory Resort - you can get to either location in just one hour. It is located in the middle of hunting paradise with deer often hanging out in the backyard. It is a perfect spot to get away from the business of life and relax. Drink coffee while watching the horses eat their breakfast.

Amy’s Place

Welcome to our beautiful southwestern home with a view of open space and forest. You will be staying on the ground floor of a unique 2 unit home. A long term tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment with a separate private entrance. Amy and Daniel are available remotely if you need anything during your stay. We are two miles from town, 5 from downtown and 29 miles from Purgatory. It’s the perfect southwest adventure hub!
