'The Snug' is tucked away 50yds up a footpath from the historic Ilfracombe harbour, through private gardens. It is a perfect couple getaway bolthole for those wishing a peaceful retreat. 100yds further up the footpath brings you out onto Portland Street with a 2min walk to the High Street. The flat has it's own small garden at the front, with great views over the harbour, and a small courtyard off of the living room with pot plants and herbs growing for your culinary use when dining in.

The Tempest, stunning sea views and hill walks

This is part of a unique building, previously The Prospect Boarding House, with amazing views over the Ilfracombe seafront and harbour from the living room and kitchen. You can expect some noise above as this is a basement flat. Bedrooms are cosy with very limited outdoor light and air as the windows open into a tiny internal courtyard. The green room is very dim and has a lower ceiling too. There are pigeons and seagulls as well as various songbirds and you can expect to hear them!

The Retreat is surrounded by all the things we love. A 5 minute walk from Croyde village, Croyde beach and a 15 minute walk to Putsborough beach. We hope that you maybe able to park your car on arrival and not need to use it again during your stay. Access up the lane next to the house to wonderful panoramic walks and views of Baggy Point. We hope its a perfect place to rest those sandy feet and unwind after a full day of sea air.
