High Desert Wilderness Cabin w/ Wood-fired Tub

The Cabin at Painted Canyon Homestead This serene cabin is situated at the mouth of a canyon overlooking Morongo Valley, where the high desert meets the San Gorgonio & San Jacinto Mountains. As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, or take in the changing light from the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two with plenty of extra space to explore.

A detached studio with a private entrance in the front of the main house on a quiet cul-de-sac. Keypad entry facilitates arrival time. Accommodates one-two persons and best use is if you're looking for a quiet place to sleep; Queen-size bed comfortably fits two. Diagonally across Empire Polo Club, Sandstorm Lacrosse, CoachellaFest, Stagecoach Country and Power Trip. Near Eldorado Polo Club, wedding venues Old Polo Estates & Lago Vista Ranch, Indian Wells Tennis Garden & HITS Desert Horse Park.

Our Guest house sits high above the Palm Springs / Coachella Valley and the views are breathtaking. Our pools and backyard are clothing-optional so you can enjoy them without a bathing suit along with us. Our Guest house features the amazing stained glass work of Gunter Zedler. We do require guests to arrive between noon and 5pm so please plan accordingly.

We provide a wide variety of pool toys to help you relax by the pool in this private retreat. Grab your book, lay on a chaise lounge chair and enjoy the peaceful patio. Please note the pool is not heated.
