Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

Our contemporary Scottish A-Frame cabin under the stars! MidPark is the essence of Rural Scottish Chic & benefits from stunning views across the Deveron Valley & set in the heart of Scotland’s castle & whisky country, while the stunning Banffshire Coast is just a stones throw away. Set on Mayen Estate, the cabin sits privately in over 700 acres of permaculture gardens and grounds, with exceptional riverside, woodland and meadow walks, friendly Highland Coos & an abundance of native wildlife.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Bell View Cottage

This unique place has a style all its own. Small but open space detached cottage in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Gardenstown. Bell View offers a quiet get away in a comfortable space only newly renovated in 2023/24. All your home comforts under one roof. One double room with the option of another double within the front room if 4 guests were to stay. A modern kitchen and shower room. Tv, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher and even a small garden also provided within this space.

Guthrie's Den, Banff. Coastal, sea view retreat

Enjoy the beautiful, ever-changing views from your coastal town hideaway over Banff harbour and bay and across to Macduff. Chill out on the windowseat and just watch the waves roll in. Fresh milk, bread and a few treats await in the welcome pack. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is lots of hot water for a relaxing bath or shower. There are books, games, fast broadband and Netflix. A short stroll takes you to your choice of two fantastic sandy beaches or in to historic Banff.

The Bothy

'The Bothy', a space to escape the bustle - set in private gardens and with scope to explore our meadow, small woodland and wildlife pond. The Bothy is laid out as studio style accomodation with a double bed, small kitchen area and a separate shower room, with porta potty style facilities! If you time your visit right (seasonal) guests are welcome to pick their own raspberries, blackcurrants, or apples. Other home-grown produce may be available. Bedding and towels provided.

Stunning views, surrounded by nature with the perfect window to view it from. Our cabin sleeps 2 and is ideal for that romantic break, sole adventure or hub whilst exploring the NE250 coastal route. Bathe outdoors in our copper, tin finished bath. Totally submerge yourself and soak in the quiet. Enjoy the tranquillity of the rural setting and the calming powers of the coastal air. A truly luxurious space to make your own and off the beaten track.

Old schoolhouse in the countryside

Cosy, homely, private cottage in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. Light the log burner and sit back to relax. The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive. The garden is large and you have full run of the whole premises during your stay. There are some lovely walks from the house.

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Almost like living in your own mini castle during your stay! There are amazing walks and wildlife on the estate too!

Relax in rural Aberdeenshire in your own private getaway. Set within 4 acres of idyllic countryside in the foothills of the Highlands. On the whisky trail in Castle Country, near to Royal Deeside, iconic cycling routes and walks from the door, the area is awash with things to keep you busy. Set on the border between Morayshire and Aberdeenshire within a short walk to the peaceful village of Rothiemay, Roualeyn Cottage offers an attractive base for a wonderful holiday. With beautiful views of the Deveron valley, little passing traffic, a woodland garden to enjoy and a glimpse of farming life the cottage offers something for everyone. So come and enjoy and set your own pace.

The East Wing, Craigdam

Welcome to our secluded stay between Tarves and Oldmeldrum. Cosy room with plenty of outside space to enjoy. the room has tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge. Also provided is continental breakfast. Although this is listed as a private room as it is part of our home, it is separate from the rest of the house with its own bathroom and front door.
