The High Country Hobo Preserve: Rustic Cabin

Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

The Little House in the Oaks-Natural Swimming Pool

Modeled after the 1970s series “Little House on the Prairie,” the house is nestled in the oak grove on 32 acres of land. Features of the house include a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, a clawfoot tub that looks out into the oaks, and a private outdoor eating area. In the summer, enjoy cooling off in our natural swimming pool which is shared with the residents. In the winter, cozy up next to the fire. 30 min to the PCT trailhead, 15 mins to Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel and Restaurant

Jamul Hacienda | Couples Retreat | Pool & Views!

The Casita retreat is a guesthouse situated among a private 20 acre oasis surrounded by majestic mountain views and a citrus grove 30-40 minutes from San Diego. The space is designed for nature enthusiasts to retreat from the daily hustle and bustle and find peace and slowness. Come take a pause, relax poolside, pick citrus (when in season), enjoy nearby trails, and wineries. The sunsets and starry skies are breathtaking. We hope you get to experience their magic for yourself.

Back Country Retreat

Back Country Retreat is nestled under oak trees and surrounded by a natural rock setting. You will be greeted with several flower gardens. The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

Expansive spaces, ocean views, birds singing, and larger than life granite boulders all come together to offer something that feels like magic. More like a national park than a home, we've found that guests enjoy the pace and peaceful surroundings and spend most of their visit without leaving. That being said, if you're feeling more exploratory, there are many options within a short drive including hiking, wine tasting, horseback riding, fishing, and even sky-diving.

The Desert View Tower

STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE DESERT VIEW TOWER! You will have The Tower all to yourselves from 5 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Sleep anywhere in the Tower on futons or couches (bedding available). You will have access to Boulder Park, and 99 acres of private desert property all day. Barbecue outside. You may also us the guest cabin with all household furnishings, toilet, shower, kitchen etc. Or, sleep under the stars.

La Luna Lookout - modern mountain

This is a mountain retreat with amazing views located just two miles from downtown Julian. Come enjoy a stay in a one bedroom, 1 &1/2 bath with over 1200 modernized square feet of space. Sit on the deck to see the amazing views including surreal moon rises and sunrises. The view starts at the edge of Julian and goes as far as the Salton Sea on clear days.

Amazing, Enchanting Art Retreat

This home was designed by the famous artist James Hubbell. It is unique and marvelous. This home and the artist are featured in two books stocked in the living room. The full charm of "The Shire" is absorbed over days and nights of individual's and couple's immersion, relaxation and awakening.
