Because of my long experience of guiding snorkelers and strong passion for the sea, you will definitely have an exciting underwater experience and a comfortable and safe feeling at the same time! Before going in the water I will explain about snorkeling, like mask clear method, snorkel clear and all other necessary things. Since I'm also a freediver, I discovered lots of beautiful hidden spots in Ishigaki, and that's exactly where I take you. I show you colorful fish, coral, often turtles, sometimes rays, small creatures like nudy brunch and more! During snorkeling I can take photos of you in crystal clear blue water and will send them to you afterwards. After the snorkeling you can enjoy Ishigaki's seasonal fruit, like island banana or pineapple or maybe even mango. (We always take local fruits what is on the market on that day, so the type of the fruit changes depends on the season when you come.) On the way back (if you like and if we have time) we can visit a natural waterfall or drink 100% sugarcane juice or just stop by at places where you are interested in! Tourist information of Miura Misaki. The long-awaited 20th Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from February 5 (Monday) to March 3 (Sunday), 2024! Miura Misaki is port town of a base for tuna fishing boats. There is a restaurant with a nice reputation for its tuna fish cuisine, and our guests will enjoy homemade Japanese dishes. It's made from freshly caught fish from sea and vegetables in Miura. After, we will go to spots with a spectacular view of "Jōgashima." There, we will go to "Awa Lighthouse" to see the Pacific Ocean stretching out before our eyes. "Jōgashima" is also a power spot and was awarded two stars in the "Michelin Green Guide Japon." We will return to Misaki Port, pay a visit to "Kainan Shrine," and then head home.

You can learn and feel about the basic Japanese spirit and values of "WA和" (harmony) by learning how to wear a modern style kimono for daily use. We will meet at Edogawa Station on the Keisei line and then head to my house. First, I will share with you the real meaning of "WA" using a small textbook I have prepared. After you have learned about "WA", we will choose a kimono and you will learn how to wear it properly for daily use. I will help you choose the right kimono and show you how to wear it in a modern style with your own accessories, if you bring any. Then, we will take a train to Shibamata and show off your Neo kimono style. We will visit a temple from Edo era and a retro big house from the Taisho era. At the retro big house, you can try matcha tea with Japanese sweets for an additional cost of 600 yen. My experience is not just about wearing a kimono. I really want you to understand and feel the essence of "WA". "WA" is a unique concept that is difficult to understand just by learning about it, so I hope you will experience it through wearing a kimono. If you would like to wear any personal accessories with the kimono, please bring them along. Also, please wear comfortable shoes; boots usually look nice with a kimono. Please note that I have a Japanese mixed breed dog in my house. If you have allergies, please be aware that there may be dog hair present.

Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! If you bring a camera, you can taking some pictures of samurai pauses which learning in this experience! This experience is also great for team building up to about 15 people. Learn the art of Kintsugi—repairing ceramics using lacquer dusted with precious metals. While it usually takes more than a month to finish a Kintsugi piece, I've developed this lesson so you can participate in this craft in one afternoon. With my guidance, you'll apply lacquer and 24-karat gold powder using the traditional techniques and methods. You'll leave with your own Kintsugi piece as a souvenir of the experience. Other things to note At the end of the session you'll be taking home your own Kintsugi ceramic cup, decorated with 24-karat gold. This is worth about 100 usd or 10,000 JPY.

This is an excellent chance for visitors to get a firsthand look into the world of the samurai. Get a glimpse into the philosophies of bushido, the way of the warrior, and try your hand at wielding a real katana. Afterwards, practice some inward reflection with Zen meditation, used by the samurai to calm their minds during battle. -Form Practice- Before being given a real blade it is important to master the basics. We will begin our training using wooden practice swords and instruct you on the proper grip, posture, and form. -A Real Katana (Japanese sword)- After learning the basics, the next step is to wield a real katana, and use it to cut though a goza mat. We will place this target on a special stand and you can put your sword skills to the test. -Zen (meditation)- The course wraps up with an experience of Zen meditation. You will also actually disassemble a sword to deepen their understanding of its parts. During the iai lesson,you will learn proper sword etiquette, and the basics of handling and swinging a sword. Next, using a Bokuto,you will learn how to use the curve and center ridge of the sword. After that, you will learn about offense and defense when facing an opponent using a padded sparring practice sword in a mock duel. Lastly, you will be able to try test cutting .Each guest will have the chance to try cutting two rolled up straw mats. Cutting at the correct angle will result in a cut with no resistance to the blade. After taking this class, you can get the BIZENKAI certificate.Please take this experience home as a memory of Japan.

I am very confident in my Kendo skills and knowledge. You can learn about the culture of the Samurai through this experience. The main event of the experience is cutting tatami mats using a Japanese sword. Please rest assured that Kengo will provide careful guidance. Let's try surfing with me! Even if you've never tried, you can stand on the surfboard during the lesson! There are 5-Steps in the beginners' lesson. 1- Practice how to catch waves before getting in the sea. 2- Wait the wave you catch on the sea. 3- Start paddling with the crying out "GO! PADDLE!" 4- And Stand on the board calmly. 5- Now you will be a surfer!! After that you can take hot shower in our surf shop and ready to eat lunch (dinner) or maybe grab a beer :) Other things to note This surf lesson takes about 2.5 hours. About 30 min for ready to surf and about 30 min for taking shower and changing clothes after surf. We can surf for about 1.5 hours. Note: If you arrive 20 minutes later than the meeting time, you may not be able to join the lesson.

This is a small-group e-bike tour in the highlands at the foot of Mt. Fuji, designed to avoid crowds and take you to places off the beaten path. Fuji from Fujimi Panorama-dai. The tour is about 30 km long and requires a certain level of physical fitness, but TREK's high-performance e-bikes will assist you well. After that we will move to Shinjuku via the JR Yamanote Line (12 minute train ride) and show you the gritty side of Tokyo, showing you the tiniest of alleys and the main night-life spot. The tour/photoshoot is going to be around 2-3 hours. I will be providing you with 25-40 high resolution photos, post processed and ready to share to your friends and family. LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with tourists! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular taverns and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns/bar in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks! (5 or more different type of drinks) You'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. During the tour, you will be able to talk to other travelers and share information about Japan. It will be great to exchange information from the same viewpoint. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. If you want to drink a bit more near the last stop before last train departs, I can tell you where to go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!

I have been a diving instructor for more than 10 years. In this experience, we will visit Okinawa's famous Blue Cave. Please enjoy the shining sea. When the weather is bad, we will not be able to enter the cave. Instead, we will have a fish-feeding experience in a different part of the sea. The ocean by Okinawa is very beautiful. I will offer you a pleasant time. Other things to note I wear a life jacket on the bathing suits and enter the sea. If you do not like sunburn, please wear a rash guard Shower and parking lot are charged. Shower 100 yen, parking lot is 100 yen per hour. Participants must be between 15 ～ 65 years old. ーーーーーーーーーー The photo will send the data. In addition, the photos taken on the day may be posted on our SNS and YouTube. Kintsugi is a sustainable repairing method for ceramics, woods and glasses, which allows you to reuse the broken piece after the repair as all the materials I use are natural and safe for body. Once it is repaired, it lasts decades. Usually it takes at least 1 month to repair a piece, due to the drying process of natural materials that we use for this repair, but in this experience you will see whole the procedure of Kintsugi in 2 hours step by step by practicing with pieces belong to the studio. You will learn: - What Kintsugi is, its history - Which materials are used - Preparation and application of Glue - Preparation and application of Paste - Sanding - Waterproof coverage - Decoration with gold: You will practice the gold decoration part on a little souvenir and take it home **Please note that you won't be able to bring nor repair your own piece. **I accept up to 4 people in a session as the studio is tiny. This demonstration will help you to deepen the knowledge of not only Japanese repairing method but also our idea of finding beauty in broken, repair and reuse pieces. This is such a sustainable way to live. (this is my personal opinion: Kintsugi really helps you to find a peaceful place inside you during the work)
