The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Permaculture garden stay - 2 bedrooms

Cosy, clean, quiet and spacious 2 bedroom garden apartment with separate lounge, kitchen and bathroom, with every amenity for a great stay. Large paved patio with barbecue and outdoor furniture and views over the acre of permaculture garden. Adults and children over 13 only (garden safety issues). Two mins walk to Locals cafe, 2 mins drive to takeaways/bars, 5 mins drive to centre of town, coastal walkway, galleries, and museum. Ten mins drive to Pukekura park for Womad and Bowl concerts.

Breakeracre Apartment

A semi-detached 2 bedroom apartment overlooking park like surroundings & view of Oakura Beach & the Tasman Sea. A very short walk will have the sand between your toes and/or a dip in the sea. Entry into the apartment is via your own front door with an outside lock-box holding the key. The apartment has 2 good size bedrooms, both with wardrobes for storage. Bath robes are supplied for up to 4 guests. In the well appointed lounge/dining room area you will also find a TV, CD player & FM radio.

Comfy bed.Also has pull out double sofa bed and we have a porta cot available. Ranch slider opens to colorful flower and herb garden. quiet cul de sac with reserve just minutes away. Off street parking. .Netflix, Beach/shops/restaurants in walking distance. Kaitake Golf Course just up the road. Butlers Bar and Cafe, Such a special little place.

Kaitake Kabana - Unique Studio Retreat

Escape to the tranquility of Kaitake Kabana, an off-grid studio retreat space, nestled in the foothills of the Kaitake Ranges. This space is ideal for two, perfect for couples looking for a getaway (but can sleep up to 4 people with an extra mattress on the floor). The bathroom space and kitchenette are detached from the main living space. There is no wifi here and limited reception, come to embrace the serenity and switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Young Street Private Gem - So Close to Town

This self-contained unit is located less than a 10 min walk from New Plymouth town and costal walkway. It boasts a warm cosy space with all the amenities you need. It has a separate entrance from the main home allowing for more privacy with its own bathroom and kitchenette (with microwave, two elements, fridge, kettle and toaster). There is plenty of free street parking as well as a single car parking space next to the airbnb (for small cars only).

Alabasta accommodation, (ground floor), is located in Oakura Village; 15 minutes from New Plymouth on Taranaki's unique Surf Highway 45. On the main road within walking distance to village amenities including cafes, Vegan restaurant, 4Square grocery shop and the local pub. Alabasta is only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Oakura Beach. This is the ideal location for short or long stays with modern and fresh apartment-style accommodation.

The Black Yurt

Several hiking trails can be found nearby. Accessible via a private staircase, this yurt offers you a comfortable king-size bed, lounge area and kitchenette. The bath and shower are outdoors. A separate small building contains the toilet.
