With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

A beautiful home in a stunning location overlooking Marahau, Adele Island and Abel Tasman National Park. Built with earth block and wood, this home has a warm and inviting character, surrounded by native forest, you will relax to the sound of Bell birds and Tuis. The master bedroom opens onto a private patio facing north, to capture morning sun and the ever-present view of the National Park. Two further bedrooms look out over native forest, creating plenty of space for family or guests.

Room for 6 people. 2 bedrooms (1 double and a bunk room) with a fold down queen size bed in living room, open plan living / Kitchen area, great indoor outdoor flow. 10 minutes walk to Abel Tasman walking track, shop/booking office, cafe/bar 200m along road.

Self Contained Guest Studio on ground floor of new home, with views of Stephens Bay and walking tracks to Kaiteriteri Beach, Little Kaiteriteri and Stephens Bay. We do not charge any extra cleaning fees. Our home is quiet, away from the main busy part of Kaiteriteri but the tracks mean you are only minutes away from its world famous beaches. We are situated just 500m away from the start of the Kaiteriteri mountain bike park. Plenty of Parking. Contactless check in.

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

The handcrafted and wool insulated yurt is warm and cosy year round and has a skylight to gaze at the stars at night. A private retreat in the native bush with outdoor kitchen, bath/shower and composting toilet all with amazing views of the Motueka river valley and the Tasman Bay beyond.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.

Your hosts, Paul and Marieann, are retired teachers. We have lived in the area for more than thirty years and have lived and traveled extensively overseas. We understand travelers’ needs and will do our best to assist with anything to enhance your stay in this lovely area.

Pipit cottage is situated on our beautiful sheep and cattle farm on the unique Takaka Hill. Guests are welcome to spend time on the farm interacting with the animals or exploring the many attractions of this area.
