Bedford Hideaway is a unique 1963 SB3 Bedford Bus which has been transformed into a perfect getaway with all the amenities you would expect in a home. Located in a private rural bush setting only 5 minute drive from Greymouth CBD It includes kitchenette, tea & coffee facilities, microwave and a continental breakfast. Full sized shower and flushing toilet along with a queen sized bed, an electric blanket and plenty of extra bedding. Close to all your needs but still private & peaceful to relax!

Next to a river and farmland, just a few minutes outside of the village of Karamea with its cafes and pubs. Local food, nature connection walks available as extras to complete your stay.

A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.
