Boat ramp and swimming 200 m away at the end of the street, and the rowing course and cafe are 5 minutes walk just the other side of the Karapiro dam. 2 canoes, paddles and lifejackets, sunny outdoor decks, BBQ and fantastic views make this a special place to relax. Here at TE HUIS (at home) we provide our guests with a private self contained annex to our home with its own entrance and parking. Not suitable for children. This space is quiet and comfortable with a queen bed in a separate bedroom, living area with tv, sofa, table, kitchenette (portable hobs only) plus bathroom. A 15-20 minute walk to all that Cambridge has to offer, cafes, supermarkets, shops, walking and cycling tracks plus Lake Te Koo Utu. Pets strictly by prior arrangement only.

At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets.
