Tucked into our established back garden, you can enjoy a beautiful quiet private hideaway with easy entry and off-street parking. Perfect for singles/couples (no children sorry) wanting to explore Cambridge, or make a base for day trips to all the surrounding areas – beaches, tourist attractions, cycling and more. We are a 20-25 min walk (5 min drive) to Cambridge town. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato and has a wonderful high street of shops, cafes and restaurants. Come explore or rest!

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Walk to town from self contained accommodation.

Here at TE HUIS (at home) we provide our guests with a private self contained annex to our home with its own entrance and parking. Not suitable for children. This space is quiet and comfortable with a queen bed in a separate bedroom, living area with tv, sofa, table, kitchenette (portable hobs only) plus bathroom. A 15-20 minute walk to all that Cambridge has to offer, cafes, supermarkets, shops, walking and cycling tracks plus Lake Te Koo Utu. Pets strictly by prior arrangement only.

Treetops studio by Lake Karapiro

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Watershed - Lake Karapiro

Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe, boat ramp . You cannot get closer. We are 20 mins from Hobbiton, 25 mins to world famous Hamilton Gardens, 55 mins to Rotorua, and 40 min to Waitomo caves. A great 2-3 day round trip. The unit has two bedrooms with ensuites, its own lounge area and kitchenette . Room 1 has a King size bed and Room 2 two king singles. There is also a double sofabed.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

Cambridge Chalet

Lovely comfortable self-contained cabin for two adults. It is situated 10 minutes from Lake Karapiro, and Cambridge. The Velodrome, Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek are 15 minutes away. Relaxing setting in gardens in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchenette comes with a kettle, microwave, and toaster but no hob, stove, or oven. Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.

Fantail Farm Loft - Peaceful & Spacious

Fantail Farm Loft is a private self contained guest suite located on a beautiful lifestyle block with a lush native bush outlook and views of the countryside. We love NZ's native bush and birds and here you will find a small oasis of native plants and bird feeders to attract native birds. Fantail, Tui, Kereru & Ruru are regular visitors. Relax inside or out on the spacious deck. Staying here you will feel like you're in a treehouse!

A rural retreat with a 10-minute scenic drive to Cambridge for excellent cafes, restaurants and shops. Centrally located for events/attractions in the Waikato.
