My place is close to Soldotna, Kenai. Great for fishing, trails, river, beach, hikes, touring boats. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the coziness, the light, the comfy bed, the kitchen, the liberty to roam the 17 acres, ability to take canoe out on the lake, visit the indoor high tunnel garden, pick berries, fish cleaning station, barbeque, smoke pit. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

Great spot for bird watching, glassing the mountains looking at Dall Sheep and mountain goats. Get away from the busy life and take a break down here by the river.

Gwin's Lodge Aspen Log Cabin

The historic Gwin's Lodge is located in the middle of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, known as Alaska's Playground. We are nestled at the base of the majestic Kenai Mountains across from the turquoise blue Kenai River in the Chugach National Forest bordering the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and the Kenai Fjords National Park. Our central location on the Kenai Peninsula makes all recreational activities in nearby towns (Seward, Soldotna, Homer, etc.) easily accessible.

The Fir 12 hand hewn log cabin is a small "honey moon" cabin. 1 full bed and bath with shower and a coffee maker. Gwin's Lodge is centrally located for your entire stay on the Kenai.
